Hey guys, I’m back! Here today is an esteemed review I have been awaiting to make: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary

Halo CEA is a phenomenal game. It is a beautifully crafted game with more than just looks to show it.
Campaign:
The graphics update really looks great. They are absolutely top notch and really bring out the colors. The most memorable levels with the new graphics are 343 Guilty Spark, Assault on the Control Room, Halo, and The Silent Cartographer. The skulls are a nice add on. They really enhance game play, more than in any other Halo game. My favorite of the skulls is Bandanna, which grants the player(s) infinite ammo. The terminals also develop a great background story of the forerunners and the Halo Rings. I have not really got into them as much as I would have liked to, but I was with my friend (Dz x K1LLer) and he read them all. He said they were phenomenal. The most memorable part was the graphic change. Changing the graphics from 2001 to 2011 really made this game 10x better.
Forge:
This game definately has great forging potential. The forging, from what I have seen, really shines on the map Timberlands. An old remake of the map from Halo PC, and my favorite map on the game. Timberlands has the items seen on Forge World, and Tempest, plus a few new items.
Multiplayer:
The multiplayer of Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary is great. It is the same thing as Halo Reach’s multiplayer, but with better maps and overall better gameplay. They changed the damage of several weapons, the physics, and playing it just feels better. As with the campaign, the graphics make the maps look beautiful.
Firefight:
Firefight just got better. Keeping many of the same features as in Reach, the gameplay did not really change all that much. The added AI allies make the firefight more realistic and fun. The map is beautiful, and is playable in Private XBL and Public XBL.
Pros:
Great campaign, Top-notch graphics, amazing Forge capabilities, beautiful multiplayer, and an amazing in game bonus (Grunt Funeral), very reasonable price ($40 US), skulls, terminal story, and a code to download the Anniversary map pack for Halo Reach.
Cons:
Terminals are very long, and sometimes get boring. The only good map for forging is Timberlands. That’s all I can think of…
Overall Rating:
Campaign: 10/10
Multiplayer: 9/10
Forge: 8/10
Firefight: 10/10
DLC: 10/10
Overall: 9.6/10
